Our mission: To honor veterans, strengthen community awareness, and build meaningful connections that bring people together in support of service, remembrance, and camaraderie.

VFW Post 7760 is a chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, proudly serving veterans and families from Portage and across Northwest Indiana since 1962. Our post is home to veterans who served in every branch of the Armed Forces.

We advocate for veterans' benefits, support our local community, and provide a place of fellowship, service, and camaraderie for those who have answered the call.

Free Flag Replacement Program

When a flag becomes worn, torn, or faded, it is considered a sign of respect to retire it with honor. VFW Post 7760 will come to your home, properly retire your old flag, and replace it with a brand-new Made-in-America flag — at no cost to you. One flag per household.
